For whatever reason, the Egyptian Goddess of sky, the stars and the cosmos has fallen out of favour with the internet and been banned for the entire month of November! It truly is a travesty for this mother figure who birthed some of the greatest gods of the Egyptian pantheon. What she could have done to offend so many people after so many years still baffles scholars to this day. Alas, she will have to find solace in the fact that the arrival of December is usually met with great celebration as many renew their dedication to Nut. We can only hope she is once again so faithfully welcomed back.

Marge, is that you? Fans of the Simpsons will no doubt instantly see the resemblance to the matriarch of the cartoon family. Not only is the shape of the hair but also the colour scheme incredibly reminiscent of the character. First reported on the Egyptian Gazette website, it has obviously done the rounds fairly quickly on Social Media. It now joins the familiar figures of Bart and Lisa from antiquity as well, and flips the script on the usual ‘Simpsons predicted’ trope.
